Brickley Typeface

Typography Design & Application

This typeface is based on letterforms created using LEGO DUPLO bricks. The resulting typeface is a rectangular pixel font that is intended to be used for display.

Brickley is a structured, modular typeface. It is a geometric, sans serif font constructed from rectangular bricks. The bricks retain the same horizontal orientation in each letter. Bricks are only placed directly on top of each other or offset by 50% and stacked. Due to the consistent width of each brick, there is minimal stroke contrast.
