The Black Stallion Movie Poster

The Black Stallion was released in 1979 and is an award-winning movie based on Walter Farley’s 1941 classic children’s book of the same name. For this project, I selected my favorite childhood movie and created a new poster for it. Multiple Photoshop techniques were utilized in the creation of this composite, including masks, adjustment layers, filters, and blending modes. This design was then carried forward as the base for a multi-platform fictitious marketing effort that includes posters, movie tickets, and web and mobile app screens.
